Took these out for the first time last weekend and the pre-curved Bow Strap adjusters actually make strapping in way less annoying, even with gloves on. The baseplate feels solid without adding much weight, which is exactly what I wanted as someone still figuring out all-mountain riding.

The EVA footbed makes a real difference on choppy groomers — my feet didn't ache once after a full day. Adjusting the Bow Strap took me a minute to figure out, but now I can tweak them mid-run without unstrapping.

Snapped these on for my first full season and the X-Base 1 baseplate keeps them stiff enough to trust on groomers without feeling twitchy. The pre-curved Bow Strap adjusters are easy to tweak with gloves on, which matters more than I expected.
